Every year, I do a family holiday photo – most years, I’ve done it at home. But as we undergo basement renovations, we had to do this year’s outside.
Because fall still lingers, I aimed to find a place with evergreens. After a short scout, I decided to take the year’s Christmas card photos at Cullen Gardens (now known as Cullen Central Park) in Whitby.
We brought some props — and overall, I think they turned out quite seasonal!
these are three wonderful coloured photos for your Christmas card Emily… i love the idea of going out to the park to take the family photos…
now you have a problem picking out which one you will send out this year:)
….peter:)
Thanks so much, Peter! I indeed got my cards picked out and they just came back from the printer π
A delightful idea, Emily. I particularly like number 3
That is what we used for our cards!
I don’t think they could possibly be any better than that, Emily!!!
We are lucky we found a good spot to take photos π They turned out well!
What a fun day! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! π
It sure is! Soon it will feel like it too!
These photos capture the season you did a great job and I agree it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Now the house does too π
They are all so beautiful.
My wife and I do a photo for our cards each year. So much fun.
I started doing cards only about a couple years ago, now it’s tradition!
What a great holiday photo! Your hat is adorable and the candy canes are a nice festive touch.
They were my mom’s idea — really worked out well π
i think you have some fine backdrops in the park, lovely photos too.
It took a little searching to find something not-so-fall!
