I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I have been having some technical difficulties with my camera. The ISO keeps automatically changing, even on Manual setting. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I’ve also been having trouble with “banding” on my photos. Both of these issues cause major “grain” in my images. Advice?
Nevertheless, still a great day — despite the camera problems. We had two turkey meals, a great time opening gifts, and some well-deserved time with my cousins.
How was everyone else’s Christmas? I hope Santa was good to you!
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing all these images of what/who you love and cherish, Emily. Thanks for this glimpse into your life there.
Astrid and I got up on Christmas day early enough to get to Kinderdijk (15 miles away) in time for the 8:30a sunrise. It was one of our best gifts of the day, walking amongst the 19 windmills there. We will try to go to Kinderdijk every Christmas, rain, shine or snow! π
Sorry Ginnie for the late reply — but thank you for all the kind words. It was a great Christmas, but I always love the holiday no matter what.
I hope you both had a lovely holiday, as well. And a great new year!
What lovely keepsakes of a happy Christmas ! π
Absolutely! Love the photo taking every year! π
Looks like a great Christmas, Emily! I love all the photos. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sorry for the late reply, but thanks Steph. Hope you and the family had a good one.
Sounds like a problem with the electronic components, which is bad news. But I see that didn’t stop the Christmas celebrations.
Sorry for the late reply, buy you’re right! Nothing can stop the holiday festivities. Hope you had a good one π

Sorry for the late reply, thanks joshi!
A very festive set of images. I love the bokeh effect on the last picture of a picture.
