It’s Thanksgiving, today! That means turkey, pumpkin pie and a nice family to share it with. In light of the occassion, I think there is nothing better than to say grace to the tune of Johnny Appleseed. “Oh, the Lord is good to me. And so I thank the Lord for giving me the things I need; the sun, and the rain, and the apple seed. The Lord is good to me.” Happy turkey day, everyone! From my family to yours.
Happy Thanksgiving Emily.

Many thanks, Kate! 🙂
I always forget Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October! I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating. I love the photo of you and your fam!
Yes! Much earlier than in the States. But I think I like it earlier, because then I can get into the Christmas spirit much faster!
Happy thanksgiving! A bit late perhaps but better to late than never. 🙂
Thanks Mats, it was a nice and relaxing day!
I love that you get to celebrate Thanksgiving so early! I did not realize that until earlier this week!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks for visiting my blog today. I am actually from just outside the GTA myself so always nice to find another local blogger.

A precious photo and a great commentary on being thankful for the important things…like family.
A belated Happy Thanksgiving, but we know that attitude should always be in our hearts and minds. Thanks for the visit to my site and for the comment. The colors this year are really coming in. I think it will be a spectacular Fall. We don’t always get that gift, but we’ve had the weather and rain that makes it happen. I’ve been out the last two days just shooting. The shots aren’t great, but they will be good reminders for me this winter of this brief explosion of color. Have a good week.
Emily, thanks for the wonderful Thanksgiving wishes. I’m sorry to be late, but I hope you’ve had a marvellous time with your family and loved ones.
