My fall visit to Pingles Farm Market continues!

This Saturday, I made my way over to Pingles Farm Market – my first visit this autumn.

It’s no secret, fall is my favourite season! I love the clothing, the cooler temperatures and the beautiful colours. As per usual (2015, 2014),  I lugged the chalk board over for the annual photo opt. This year, it sported a “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” theme.

If you’re passing through the area, stop by. Pingles Farm Market features pumpkins  galore, a corn maze and fresh home-baked treats.

A lovely afternoon to welcome the most charming season of all.

Rainy day in the garden

Another quiet rainy day in town. I decided to take a stroll through mom’s garden, and capture some of the beautiful greenery. And as you can see, we’re also getting ready for the fall season with the scarecrows! (Stay tuned for some more fall-infused posts!)

My cat Jimmy Dean also enjoyed watching the droplets come down.

Happy 3rd birthday, Sir Elton!

Three years ago, we welcomed Sir Elton John, the lavender-coloured Russian Blue, into our home.

We don’t know his exact birthday, but the vet guessed he was one-year when we adopted him on this day in 2014.

Now he is a healthy three-years-old! Join me in wishing him a Happy Birthday!

Throwback Thursday: A girl & her mom

Only few people in this world can say they’re as blessed as me. I was born into a loving household, hardworking parents, who are genuine and kind. So, as I sit here and sort through photos, I decided to share a #ThrowbackThursday – an old photo of me and my mom.

I can’t tell you what year this was taken, but it was surely over 20 years ago. And what I’ve learned since then: mother-daughter bonds, big sunglasses and denim never go out of style.

DIY Birdhouses

It was a rainy August afternoon today, so I decided to paint some birdhouses! I picked up the wooden frames from the dollar store, and painted them white, with a colourful roof.

I also freestyled some flowers to make a cute border! A simple, fun activity for a Saturday!
