Okay, okay, okay. Don’t judge me, but I totally hired a photographer to take pictures of me and Táta! While I was on Instagram, I came across an incredible GTA-based photographer named Eric Cheng.
His style is so storybook like — whimsical and beautiful, to say the least.
We scheduled a session at Greenwood Park in Ajax at 6:30 a.m., this weekend! While were hoping for golden hour, I think we got even luckier — this fog added a certain mystical, magical feel to our photos. I absolutely adore them!
Here is Part I. Enjoy!
These are fabulous pictures, Emily – you must be delighted with them
I really am, this is only part one, more to come!
what a fantastic collections of pics and in such a beautiful place. it is indeed, storybook land.
I go to this place all the time, and he was able to make it look like something out of a storybook — totally blows my mind!
Jimmy Dean and Sir Elton are going to get so upset and jealous when they see this blackboard! 😉
Hahaha I am glad you remembered them! Too bad they hate the outdoors, or I totally would have made it a pet photo frenzy!
i just love this presentation of you a Táta in the woods Emily…
Eric Cheng did wonderful work here… i love the shots with the chalk board….peter:)
Thanks Peter — i’m really happy I went ahead and did this! I can’t wait for more photos … this is only part one 🙂

OMG I love these pictures Emily, I think it’s awesome you hired a photographer to get some beauty, storybook-like, pics of you and Tata 🙂 The fog is perfect! Looks like you are in a fairytale.
It’s so crazy — i went with the intentions of golden hour, but the mist actually was much more dramatic and really added something fairy tale-like, as you said. It really did work out for the best!
I do NOT judge you, Emily. They’re all adorable!
Thank you, Ginnie! Táta was so good during the shoot, always smiling and happy 🙂
i agree with you about the light and misty atmosphere, Emily. always a pleasure to see Táta
