Amazing. I can’t decide which part is my favourite. Stunning beauty.
You SHOULD be proud of this video, Emily. WOW! Out of curiosity, I’d love to know what plane tour you took? I just Googled and found this limk: https://www.viator.com/Iceland/d55-ttd?pref=02#%7B%22listSpec%22%3A%7B%22layout%22%3A%22grid%22%7D%2C%22filterSpec%22%3A%7B%22selections%22%3A%5B%7B%22name%22%3A%22groupId%22%2C%22value%22%3A%221%22%7D%5D%2C%22availabilityRange%22%3A%7B%22from%22%3A%22%22%2C%22to%22%3A%22%22%7D%7D%2C%22currency%22%3A%22USD%22%2C%22destinationId%22%3A%2255%22%7D
Interestingly, Astrid’s son and DIL were in Iceland for a long weekend a week ago, when they had the HUGE snowstorm. It meant they couldn’t rent the car they had booked because most roads were closed. But they WERE able to take a bus tour of some o the places they had wanted to see.
Thank you! There were so many other things we wished we captured
I saw the photos from that snow storm — apparently it was like record breaking! What a weekend to go!
And I booked with WOW Air. When I booked, they just began service to Canada, so the discount flights were incredible prices. I think my round trip was $249 CDN! It;s very basic though, so luggage is strictly weighed and they don’t serve you drinks or food without extra costs. But the flight wasn’t too long for us 🙂
excellent work! in SIngapore, drones are not allowed without a permit so i am sort of envious of you. magnificent locations, i loved the craggy landscapes and also coastal scenes.
That was our favourite too …that coast/beach was so fun! Unreal views
Stunning work!!!
Thank you 🙂 What a fun trip and great images
Wonderful! Very skilled!
Thank you, we appreciate it 🙂
Well, that makes me want to visit those glaciers. Apropos of nothing, episode 2 of “Powerless” makes a few references to the country.
It’s really a photographer’s playground, lots of great things to see, and you’ll run into many, many tourists!
what a wonderful video over Iceland Emily… the calving of the glaciers is similar to the ones in Alaska except the icebergs are much bigger there… great fly over shots….peter:)
Alaska is a dream. I was going to go there this year, but I am not sure if I will …. but your photos from there were amazing 🙂
