Happy new year! It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted on here, but I am happy to announce a new photo project I am working on, which will be shared as Throwbacks. I have been digging up old travel photos, editing them, and will be postings segments periodically.
This week, here’s a peak into my Portugal trip almost a decade ago. I spent two weeks in the vibrant, colourful country in 2008, and traveled it all – from the Faro District (the Algarve), Lisbon, Porto, Fatima, and all the way north to Braga.
Iβm dying to go to Portugal. The sites, the sounds, the people and especially the food, I love Portuguese food. So much seafood so little time. Great pictures π
Thank you, it’s nice digging out old photos and re-editing them to what I know now. Some more travel photos to come!
I would love to visit Portugal again one day!
Porto is still on my bucket list.
There’s so much history and wonderful beaches. The Algarve was my favourite.
It is good to see you back. You are a lucky person to get to visit all these places.
I’ve been pretty lucky to be able to travel π
I wondered where you’ve been, Emily, so I’m glad to see you’re keeping yourself busy. You never want these back trips to get buried in a Black Hole somewhere!
Right?! π It’s nice to go back and look on what you shot, and see if you can improve it!
It looks like a beautiful place to visit.
Yes, very colourful and vibrant!
You have made many great travel memories. Beautiful photos. π
It’s nice to look back on old photos … i didn’t realize how much a little editing could go!
there is so much to like in this presentation… i am jealous of your journey to Portugal Emily… but that’s OK… you felt the same way about us going on the Alaskan Cruise…
you have a great weekend now….peter:)
Thanks Peter — it was so long ago now, so weird how quickly time flies by!
i really loved the view over the roofs, Emily. great shots.
They are so colourful and unique! I am happy to recover them!
Looks like you had a great time, with the optimal weather.
Sure was a much hotter September than we get in Toronto π
