It’s been a few weeks since I posted, but some good news – I’ve just started a new job at another Toronto radio station. And, trust me, I’ve been keeping busy! But I still have so many photos to share from my Western Canada trip. For entry five, I’ll show you some shots from Lake Louise in Alberta, about 30 minutes northwest of Banff.
Lake Louise is magnificent, even frozen over – although, I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t see the complete mirrored mountains on the water. It’s also home to one of North America’s largest ski/snowboard resorts, Ski Lake Louise.
If you’re planning to stop by there, head to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. A quick walk behind the hotel, you’ll find a perfect chance to get a good photo.
The photos are magnificent! Can only imagine what it must have been like to see it in person! Wow! 🙂
Yes, absolutely breath-taking! 🙂
I’m always in awe of Canadian scenery. Canada always looks beautiful whatever season it’s in. The frozen lake looks so beautiful against the mountains. Great photos!

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by. I think Alberta, for the most part, is just so picturesque because of the Rockies. 🙂
That is a gorgeous part of the world. It looks like you are enjoying yourself.
It was truly a one in a lifetime trip!
It’s getting warmer in London, these photos make me feel cool!
It was actually warm, even though there was still ice!
